Urs Herger – Industrial designer with heart and soul
After my initial training as a physics laboratory technician and a few years in the electronics industry, I threw myself into the world of design. This combination of technology and design has never let go of me since.
After more than 2 decades in various design and innovation agencies as an industrial and interaction designer, I have 2016 been developing, producing and selling my own products under the label HURDGE in Bergün/GR alongside my design job.
Since 2024, I have been offering design and engineering from a single source with Hurdge Design. Thanks to my many years of development work, I can draw on a valuable network of partners if required. My second home in Zurich allows me to be close to the city at all times.

OPTREL – 2022
The device provides fresh air in work situations with a poor breathing environment. With Quo AG we developed a small, lightweight and robust solution. In addition, the innovative ventilated textile mask ensures pleasant coolness and comfort.

Schweizer Radio und Fernsehen. Investigation, specification and standardisation of studio workstations and user interfaces for an intuitive control console.
Maximatic Espresso Machine
OLYMPIA EXPRESS – 2008
Rework of the 1974 model wich is the smallest dual-circuit espresso machine machine in the world. All surfaces have been aligned flush, the display instruments neatly designed, the controls arranged for maximum ease of use and the product graphics completely revised.
